I’ll try not to ramble with this article, but it’s hard not to because I need to cover just about everything in the world and world history.
Yeah, really.

The annual Waukesha fireworks display was delayed in 2022 by rain. Instead of shooting them off on July 4, they went skyward on July 9.
And in addition to the date change, there was a location change. For many years, the city had used the local airport as the fireworks base, but in 2022 they moved to Lowell Park. Apparently, this had been the original location several decades ago.
There's not much of a story here. It's mainly pictures that I took of the full lunar eclipse on the night of May 15, 2022.
The only "story" is about the three pictures I didn't take.
A vacation to Memphis in the middle of winter. Maybe that doesn’t exactly sound exciting, but at least it sounds warmer than Waukesha in February. So we had planned to visit the source of the Beale Street Blues for the better part of a week.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to use that title. Probably not even the first to use it in connection with Jordan Love. But that's as inspired and original as I can get right now, so you'll just have to deal with it.

It was that time again - time to get away from friends and family for an extended period of time. Not that we get to see friends and family in person for an extended period of time very often. Still, it seemed like it would be a fun thing to do, so we did it, and it was.
Here's what it was...to the best of my recollection. (It's amazing how quickly you forget or reorder things sometimes.)
Note: If you arrived here from State Parks Journey, you should know that this article covers both Amnicon and Pattison State Parks (and more). It was written before I had the thought of visiting all the state parks in Wisconsin.
After Karen was done with work at the local KT, we headed north along I-94 making it as far as Eau Claire to visit with Matt and Becca for the evening. (Yeah, ignore that first line above.)
We had a relaxing few hours. I took a picture of some of their tall pines because they looked picturesque. And when trees are giving you that look, you don't want to disappoint.
